Beef Bulgogi Recipe
This is my attempt to re-create a classic Korean dish at home

Ingredients
  • 1 - 1 1/2 pound good quality steak (like tenderloin)
  • 2T honey
  • 2 T rice wine or dry white wine
  • 4-6 green onions, chopped fine
  • 3 cloves chopped garlic (I prefer roasted garlic for this)
  • 1/4 c soy sauce
  • 1 T sesame salt
  • 2 T sesame oil
  • black pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Slice beef very thin. Mix the honey and wine, toss in the beef, cover and refrigerate at least a half hour.
  2. Combine the green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame salt, sesame oil, and black pepper. Pour over the beef and mix well. Grill or broil the meat for 10 minutes.
