Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp allspice

Directions
  1. Blend ground pork, onion and allspice well
  2. Put in a saucpan and just cover with water
  3. Simmer until boiled down and thick
  4. Spread in an 8" pan and chill
  5. Scrape off any visible fat that has come to the top
  6. Slice for sandwiches or spread on crackers

Very interesting. I knew a french woman (alsace) who made something very similar. I used to put it on bread with cheese and broil it. LOL she thought I was odd, but it was good.
