Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix salt into soda water. Soak raccoon meat in the mixture overnight.
  • Remove from water and wash twice.
  • Boil raccoon until tender. (Time depends on if it's still boned, or cut up, etc)
  • Place in a bread pan with sweet potatoes and cover with the broth.
  • Season to taste with pepper and sage.
  • Bake at 375 until brown, about 35 minutes.

This disturbs me a little (O.K. a lot). Yeah, I'm one of those, besides I had one as a pet for years and it was the sweetest, funniest little thing.

Oh my is right... we actally had a neighbor who ate Racoon... And they are so CUTE. I could never, but I also have friends who won't eat beef if they raise it... I have no prob with that! To each his own, live and let live!
