Southern Cornbread Dressing Recipe

Ingredients

3 pans cornbread

8 slices white bread, toasted

2 onions, chopped

6 eggs, hard boiled

12 eggs, slightly beaten

10 cups turkey or chicken broth

1 1/2 sticks margarine

2 Tbsp crumbled sage leaves

Directions

Crumble cornbread and toasted bread in a large bowl

Add onion, chopped boiled egg and boiled broth to mixture

Add crumbled sage leaves, raw eggs and melted margarine

Blend well

Pour into a buttered baking dish and bake at 425 derees for 30-45 minutes, depending on oven

YEP!! That's the way I do it, too, almost exactly! The eggs really add something to it for sure. I add poultry seasoning and some rosemary to it most times. Whatever's around, I say! Thanks for this...
