Southwestern Club Sandwich

- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise shopping list
- 1 large garlic clove, pressed shopping list
- 1 small jalapeno chili, minced (optional) shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 6 slices hickory-smoked bacon shopping list
- 6 slices whole grain bread shopping list
- 8 thin slices smoked turkey shopping list
- 4 slices monterey jack cheese shopping list
- 4 large tomato slices shopping list
- 1/2 avocado, pitted, peeled, sliced shopping list
- romaine lettuce leaves shopping list
How to make it
- Mix first 5 ingredients in small bowl.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Cook bacon in heavy large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Transfer to paper towels and drain.
- Toast bread.
- Spread mayonnaise mixture evenly over bread slices.
- Cover 1 bread slice with turkey and cheese and lettuce and the other slice with tomato, avocado and bacon place 1 slice in between. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Cut diagonally into 1/2's.
- Skewer each with toothpick if desired and serve.
