- pinch freshly ground nutmeg shopping list
- 2 small bananas cut in half lengthwise shopping list
- ¼ cup drambuie or other liqueur shopping list
- ¼ cup dark rum shopping list
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream shopping list
How to make it
- In a 10-inch skillet or sauté pan over medium heat, melt butter.
- Add sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg: mix well.
- Add bananas and sauté until they begin to soften (about 1 minute on each side.)
- Pour in liqueur and rum.
- Heat the liqueur, then remove from flames .
- Tilt pan to ignite liqueur.
- Do not ignite your eyebrows; must be over 21 to make :)
- Shake pan slightly to prolong flames.
- When flames burn out, place 2 banana halves on each serving plate.
- Place a scoop of ice cream between the banana halves and spoon the sauce over all.
- I use a banana liqueur instead of drambuie.
