Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a bowl add flour, salt and sugar, set aside
  • In a sauce pan melt margarine and shortening together
  • Add cocoa and water to margarine mixture and bring to a boil
  • Pour over flour mixture and mix well
  • Beat eggs and add to mixture
  • then add soda to the buttermilk, stir and add to mixture
  • Bake cake in a greased and floured jelly roll pan for 20 min at 350 degrees
  • For the icing melt one stick of parkey margarine
  • add 3 tablespoons of cocoa to that then add 6 tablespoons of
  • evaporated milk
  • Add a 16 oz box of powdered sugar, one teaspoon of vanilla and 1/2 to one cup of nuts
  • spread on cake while warm.

    I tried this one today. Turned out great!! Has a Heavenly taste. I took a pic but I just got my dig. camera and I download to my pc but for some reason they will not download onto the site.

    I have a Texas Sheetcake recipe, and it has cinnamon in it...have you had it that way? Kinda like Mexican chocolate.
