Blueberry Bbq Sauce Recipe Mekiess / All my dishes

A change from the usual red barbeque sauce - sweet and tangy! Wonderful on grilled chicken breasts or pork chops. We had this at a fancy resturant which prompted me to create it for myself.

Mekiess

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Blueberries - fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup Balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Catsup
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt.

Directions
  1. Place all ingredients ina small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until thick.
  3. Remove from heat, cool, and blend until smooth.
  4. Serve over grilled chicken or pork chops
