Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 Cups Applesauce
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Cooking Oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 Tablespoons Milk
  • 2 Cups All Purpose Flour (Sifted)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Allspice
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions
  1. In Mixing Bowl, thoroughly combine Applesauce, Sugar, Oil, Eggs,
  2. and Milk. Sift together Flour, Soda, Baking Powder, the first
  3. 1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon, the Salt, Nutmeg, and Allspice.
  4. Stir into Applesauce Mixture; Beat Well. Fold in 1/2 Cup Pecans;
  5. turn into a Well Greased 9x5x3 inch Loaf Pan. Combine the 1/4
  6. Cup Pecans, the Brown Sugar, and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Cinnamon; Sprinkle over Batter. Bake @ 350 for 1 Hour or until
  8. Done. Remove from Pan; Cool on Rack.
