Spiced Applesauce Bread Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 Cups Applesauce

1 Cup Sugar

1/2 Cup Cooking Oil

2 Eggs

3 Tablespoons Milk

2 Cups All Purpose Flour (Sifted)

1 teaspoon Baking Soda

1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder

1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon Salt

1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon Allspice

1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans

1/4 Cup Chopped Pecans

1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions

In Mixing Bowl, thoroughly combine Applesauce, Sugar, Oil, Eggs,

and Milk. Sift together Flour, Soda, Baking Powder, the first

1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon, the Salt, Nutmeg, and Allspice.

Stir into Applesauce Mixture; Beat Well. Fold in 1/2 Cup Pecans;

turn into a Well Greased 9x5x3 inch Loaf Pan. Combine the 1/4

Cup Pecans, the Brown Sugar, and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon

Cinnamon; Sprinkle over Batter. Bake @ 350 for 1 Hour or until

Done. Remove from Pan; Cool on Rack.
