Nutty Drunken Snowballs

This recipe uses Carob powder and Carob chips which may be purchased at your local health food store.
Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter, softened shopping list
- 4 Tablespoon water shopping list
- 1 teaspoon rum extract shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 6 Tablespoon carob powder shopping list
- 3/4 cup unsweetened carob chips shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 4 cups rolled oats shopping list
- powdered sugar, as needed, for rolling shopping list
- sweetened flaked coconut, as needed, for rolling shopping list
- chopped walnuts, as needed, for rolling shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter and sugar together. Mixture should be light and fluffy.
- Add water, rum, and vanilla and combine.
- Add carob powder, chip, and oats. Mix well.
- Roll into small balls. If dough is not sticking together well, splash a little water on it.
- If desired, roll in chopped walnuts, or confectioner's sugar, or coconut, or a combination of all three.
