Easy Sweet Sauce For Fish Recipe
This is a quick and easy recipe for a sauce to pour over the top of cooked fish. Whether it be grilled, fried, or baked, this sauce will really make it special.

Ingredients
  • 2 Garlic cloves crushed and chopped
  • 3 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Heaping Tbsp Preserves or Chutney (your favorite, your choice)
  • OR
  • 2 Tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice, orange juice or grapefruit juice w/ pulp is excellent too (instead of preserves)

Directions
  1. Melt butter in skillet on low heat
  2. Sautee garlic in butter on low heat for about 4 minutes
  3. Add preserves
  4. cook about 2-3 more minutes until preserves melt
  5. pour over cooked fish
  6. heavenly

I use peach or apricot preserves or orange marmalade. Mango chutney is excellent too. I always serve this with a white, salt-water fish, dipped in egg and dredged in breadcrumbs then pan-fried in a little canola oil. Quick easy and fantastic!
