Almost Lasagna In The Crock Pot

- 1 box rotini pasta shopping list
- 2 jars pasta sauce with tomato chunks shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 pound ground sausage shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 1 cup parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs shopping list
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese shopping list
- 16 ounce container ricotta cheese shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons parsley flakes shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Grease crock pot or spray with non stick cooking spray.
- Cook rotini according to package directions then drain well.
- Brown beef and sausage and drain well.
- Toss pasta with olive oil then add pasta sauce to mixture and toss well.
- Stir together parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, 1 cup mozzarella and browned meat.
- Beat together ricotta, eggs, parmesan, parsley, salt and pepper.
- Pour half of pasta then sauce into crock pot.
- Spread entire ricotta mixture over first layer of pasta.
- Cover ricotta layer with remaining pasta mixture and cover with remaining cheese.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
