- red wine Syrup: shopping list
- 1 bottle red wine, young and fruity (Beaujolais) shopping list
- 1 cup of sugar shopping list
- 1 ounce of brandy shopping list
- 1 ounce of cointreau shopping list
- 1 ounce of peach liquor shopping list
- For Drink: shopping list
- 2 ounces of chilled vodka shopping list
- 1 1/2 ounces of red wine syrup shopping list
- splash of fresh lemon juice shopping list
- Garnish shopping list
- 1 grape, halved shopping list
- 1 ounce peach liquor shopping list
How to make it
- Make red wine syrup: Bring wine to a boil in a non-reactive heavy bottomed sauce pan and reduce by half.
- Remove from heat and add the sugar.
- Stir to dissolve.
- Add the brandy, Cointreau, and peach liqueur and chill.
- To make drink: Shake vodka, syrup and lemon juice with ice and strain into chilled martini glass.
- Top with grape halves that have been marinated in the peach liqueur for at least five minutes.
