Ingredients

6 squares semi sweet baking chocolate

4 squares unsweetened baking chocolate

1 tsp baking powder

6 tbsp butter or margarine

2 cups chopped walnuts

1 1/4 cups sugar

3 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

1 cup flour

1/4 tsp salt

Directions

Heat oven to 325 degrees

Microwave chocolates and butter until chocolate is almost melted, stirring halfway through the heating time. Stir unil chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

Stir: sugar into chocolate until blended. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in nuts. drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 1 1/2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake: 12 minutes or unitl set. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheets. cool.

Store in airtight container.

makes about 3 dozen.
