Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Grease or spray cooking sheets generously
  • Cream butter and 2 sugars until fluffy
  • Stir in vanilla then add eggs one at a time beating well after each add
  • Sift flour, salt & baking soda together
  • Add to creamed mixture
  • Stir in oatmeal and raisins (may need to mix by hand, I do)
  • Drop by rounded teaspoons 2" apart ( do not crowd they do spread) on to greased sheets
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes only DO NOT OVERBAKE, (they will burn and are too crispy)
  • Cool 1 minute on sheet before removing to racks to cool completely
  • ENJOY!!
