The Best Oatmeal Raisin Crisp Cookies

- 1 cup soft butter shopping list
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1-1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 3 cups Old Fashioned oatmeal (not quick cook) shopping list
- 1-1/2 to 2 cups raisins shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- Grease or spray cooking sheets generously
- Cream butter and 2 sugars until fluffy
- Stir in vanilla then add eggs one at a time beating well after each add
- Sift flour, salt & baking soda together
- Add to creamed mixture
- Stir in oatmeal and raisins (may need to mix by hand, I do)
- Drop by rounded teaspoons 2" apart ( do not crowd they do spread) on to greased sheets
- Bake for 10-15 minutes only DO NOT OVERBAKE, (they will burn and are too crispy)
- Cool 1 minute on sheet before removing to racks to cool completely
- ENJOY!!
