Egg and Green Bean Casserole

- 1 quart green beans shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped white onions shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon savory shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley shopping list
- 6 hard boiled eggs sliced shopping list
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated swiss cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Melt butter in pan then sauté onion until tender.
- Remove from heat and blend in flour, milk, salt, pepper, thyme, savory and parsley.
- Bring to a boil stirring constantly.
- Simmer 2 minutes.
- Layer beans, eggs and sauce in small casserole dish.
- Combine crumbs and cheese and sprinkle on top.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
