so i was looking for an easy and fast bbq beef brisket for a recipe in the crockpot, without much luck, so i created my own. curious to see how it comes out tonight.

Ingredients
  • 3-4 lb beef brisket
  • 4tbls steak seasoning
  • 2 tbls kosher salt
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/2 bottle bbq sauce

Directions
  1. season brisket liberally with salt and steak seasoning
  2. add wine and bbq sauce to crockpot
  3. cut brisket in to pieces that will fit in to crockpot
  4. add meat to pot fat side up and cover
  5. cook 4-6 hours on high, maybe 6-8 on low

It was a hit. spruced up some baked beans and served with some white rice. this is going to be a keeper recipe. it really doesn't get much easier :)
