- 2 lbs 90/10 ground beef (lean is best) shopping list
- 1 and half lbs of ground pork shopping list
- 1 1/2 C oatmeal shopping list
- 1 cup of herbed Dressing Crumbs shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1 medium onion (optional) shopping list
- 2 T minced garlic (or fresh garlic cloves) shopping list
- 1 C ketsup shopping list
- 1 t kosher salt shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat Oven to 350-375 degrees, depending on your oven
- In large bowl tear apart meats in chunk size, evenly dispersing in bowl.
- Add together meats, oatmeal, Herbed Dressing crumbs, 2 eggs, 1 can of cream mushroom, onion (optional), GARLIC and salt.
- Suggestion: get your kids to mix it by hand in the bowl squeezing it altogether until well mixed. I use my kids to save my nails from getting ugly!
- Form two loafs and place each in loaf pans for approximatly 1 hour at 350-375.
- ***When your meat is done remove from oven and cover 1 pan with 1 C of ketsup and the other pan with 1 can of cream of mushroom soup and place back in oven for about 10 minutes.
- My husband and I favor the pan with the cream of mushroom and the kids like them both.
