These muffins are made with whole wheat flour and Splenda. My kids have no problem eating them, they are delicious!

I did a 1 for 1 substitution of the Splenda with the Splenda/Brown sugar blend and they are great. Even with the added calories of the brown sugar, this recipe (for 12 muffins) only has 150 calories, 5 gm of fat, and 2 gm of fiber per muffin. Most excellent.

I'll have to try these for my kiddo's birthday slumber party...I'm going to turn them into mini muffins! I don't like loading kids up w/ sugar and I love the whole wheat flour in these as well. I know my family will love them...but some people don't feed their kids this healthy (one time I made blueberry muffins for one of my kiddo's friends - she thought she liked blueberry muffins b/c she had only eaten the stuff out of a package mix - not made w/ real blueberries).
