Baked Noodle casserole layered with sour cream and cherry pie filling. Goes great with brisket
Ingredients
- 8 ounces egg noodles shopping list
- 3 eggs beaten shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar or Splenda shopping list
- 1 14 ounce can cherry pie filling to which you have added 1/8th teaspoon almond extract and stirred well. shopping list
- 1 stick butter softened shopping list
- 1 tablespoon vanilla shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 4 ounces sour cream shopping list
How to make it
- Cook and drain the noodles
- Mix butter with sugar and cinnamon, vanilla and eggs.
- Mix in the sour cream
- In a round 1 1/2 quart greased casserole, place 1/2 the noodle mixture, then 1/2 the cherry pie filling, then the rest of the noodle mixture and top with the remaining cherry pie filling.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
