Corn Relish

- 6 cups cooked fresh whole kernel corn shopping list
- 3 cups chopped cabbage shopping list
- 1 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1 medium green bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 1 medium red bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 4 cups distilled white vinegar shopping list
- 2 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 tablespoon pickling salt shopping list
- 1 tablespoon celery seed shopping list
- 1 tablespoon mustard seed shopping list
- 1 tablespoon turmeric shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients in large sauce pot the bring to boil over medium heat.
- Stir occasionally then reduce heat to medium and cook 15 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Remove bay leaf then immediately fill hot pint jars with mixture leaving 1/2" head space.
- Carefully run a nonmetallic utensil down inside of jars to remove trapped air bubbles.
- Wipe jar tops and threads clean then adjust two piece caps.
- Process jars in boiling water canner for 15 minutes.
