Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 cups butter melted
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 24 small peppermint patties

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350 then grease rectangular baking pan.
  2. In large bowl with spoon or wire whisk stir together butter, sugar and vanilla.
  3. Add eggs and stir until well blended then stir in flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  4. Blend well.
  5. Reserve 2 cups batter and set aside then spread remaining batter in prepared pan.
  6. Arrange peppermint patties in single layer over batter then spread reserved batter over patties.
  7. Bake 50 minutes then cool completely in pan or wire rack and cut into squares.

I'm going to have to make these for the kids brownies and peppermint patty's combined oh I know they will love them especially with some ice cream.
