This old standby recipe is a favorite with just about everybody! It was big in the 70's. It's a step up from the marshmellow-cereal combo cookie!
I'm guessing at the yield.

TIp: let them sit out a bit before you try cutting them, unless of course like chihuahua's husband, you plan to eat the whole pan!

Yummy these sound so good. My mama used to use peanut butter in her batch. She used to butter her hands to make it easier to spread. Paula Deen might like that idea......Hmmmm

Interesting that you include PB. The Chinese have a dessert called 'Yue Bing' (moon cakes) that included actual peanuts. Once I tried the standard box recipe WITH added peanuts, I make them that way (even tho making any of these recipes is a complete mess).
