How to make it

  • Place the apricots and the water in a saucepan.
  • Simmer until tender (about 10-15minutes) then blend to a smooth
  • consitency.
  • In the same pan,place the blended apricots.Add vinegar,sugar,chilli
  • powder and salt.
  • Heat gently , stirring , until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Then simmer gently for about 5 minutes to the desired thickness.
  • Allow to cool and bottle in airtight jars.
