Apricot Chutney Or Kubani Ki Chutney

- 2 cups dried apricots shopping list
- 2 cup water shopping list
- 1 3/4 to 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp Nigella seeds(kalonji) shopping list
- 1/4 tsp Carom seeds(ajwaiin) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds(zeera) shopping list
- 3 tbsp vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- Place the apricots and the water in a saucepan.
- Simmer until tender (about 10-15minutes) then blend to a smooth
- consitency.
- In the same pan,place the blended apricots.Add vinegar,sugar,chilli
- powder and salt.
- Heat gently , stirring , until the sugar has dissolved.
- Then simmer gently for about 5 minutes to the desired thickness.
- Allow to cool and bottle in airtight jars.
