Louisiana Stuffed Peppers Recipe
Red or green bell peppers stuffed with a flavourful black bean and rice mixture.

Ingredients
  • 4 medium bell peppers (your choice of colour)
  • 1 package Zatarain's Black Bean and Rice
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese

Directions
  1. Prepare black bean and rice mixture according to package directions
  2. Cut the tops off the peppers and carefully clean out cores and seeds
  3. Fill peppers with bean and rice mixture and stand filled peppers in baking dish
  4. Top each filled pepper with shredded cheese
  5. Bake covered at 350 F for 45 minutes, longer for softer peppers.
