How to make it

  • Drain the liquid from the delectable mollusks.
  • Season each oyster with a drop or two of Tabasco.
  • Wrap each oyster in a strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Depending upon the size of the oyster, an entire strip may not needed.
  • Place in a shallow baking pan
  • Place pan with oysters in broil until bacon is crisp, turning once.
  • Do not allow the toothpicks to flame.
  • Drain oysters (off of oil from bacon )
  • serve while hot.
  • You can also do this with Shrimp ...
  • I also add Swiss Cheese on top to melt before taking out of oven
  • once it is melted then I have served this with baked potato, salad and bread.
