How to make it

  • Rinse fish filets and pat dry. Arrange in large baking dish in a single layer.
  • In small skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add onion and saute until softened.
  • Combine cream cheese, wine, horseradish, mustard, salt and pepper. Stir into onion in skillet.
  • Pour mixture over fish. Top with crumbled bacon.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
  • Garnish with parsley.
  • I like to serve the filets on a bed of sauteed fresh spinach.

    This looks like a great recipe! Thanks for sharing it. I am always looking for different ways to prepare fish since we have it in abundance here...yeah, I am so fortunate that way. I can see adding a crab mixture to this too! Mmmmm
