How to make it

  • Wash rhubarb and cut into chunks, draining any remaining water.
  • Chop onions.
  • Put all ingredients into a pan, simmer and stir will.
  • Simmer for 1 hour or until mixture is golden brown and thick.
  • Put chutney into hot, sterilized jars, cover and seal according to canning instructions.
