Oatmeal Pie Recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs, slightly beaten

2/3 C. melted butter

2/3 C. white corn syrup

1 T. brown sugar

2/3 C. oatmeal

1 tsp vanilla

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust

Directions

In a med bowl, combine eggs, butter, corn syrup, brown sugar, oatmeal, and vanilla; mix well.

Pour into unbaked pie crust.

Bake at 350° for 45 min, or until firm.

Serve topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping

My Mother in Law use to always make an oatmeal pie for me for Christmas every year I always thought it tasted on the line of pecan pie. I loved it.. So, I was wanting to make this for Christmas this year and I can not find her recipe for it. You know when you have a recipe from a family member and you misplaced (The Recipe)it seems like you will never find another like it. I bet this will be as good as hers but I wish I could find The Recipe of hers... I will give yours a try it sounds about the same as hers. Thanks for the post. High Five 55555
