BRANDIED CHEDDAR SPREAD This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Roark Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1984.
Ingredients
- 1 pound sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream shopping list
- 1/3 cup brandy shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter at room temperature shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Put cheese through meat grinder then combine cheese in bowl with remaining ingredients.
- Mix well and chill at least one hour.
