Ingredients
  • 5 lbs.yellow onions(golfball size)
  • pickling spices (any brand)
  • white vinegar

Directions
  1. peel and rince(under cold running water) and fill 2 (1 qt.) jsterilized jars with onions as full as possible
  2. add 2 TBS. spices and fill jars with vinegar,seal tightly and shake to mix spices and vinegar
  3. do not refrigerate,but let stand in room temp. for 7-10 days
  4. after 10 days, refrigerate to stop pickling process- will last 4 months or more
  5. liquid might become cloudy,don't worry,onions are fine.
  6. serve as a side or use in recipes
