How to make it

  • peel and rince(under cold running water) and fill 2 (1 qt.) jsterilized jars with onions as full as possible
  • add 2 TBS. spices and fill jars with vinegar,seal tightly and shake to mix spices and vinegar
  • do not refrigerate,but let stand in room temp. for 7-10 days
  • after 10 days, refrigerate to stop pickling process- will last 4 months or more
  • liquid might become cloudy,don't worry,onions are fine.
  • serve as a side or use in recipes
