This recipe is outstanding! I used to make a similar cheesecake a few years ago, but lost the recipe in so many moves around the world. I changed up the crust and used Nilla Wafers instead. (I love banana pudding, it's a weakness I have learned to live with) Anyways, I used about 30 cookies and 6Tbsp of melted butter. Pressed it into my 9 inch spring form pan and baked using the directions above. I didn't have any lemon juice, so I used a Tbsp of vanilla instead. I also used a little over a cup of mashed bananas since the four I had were about to go really, really bad. I topped with caramel instead of whipped cream and it was AMAZING. Highly recommend!!!!

Holy Smokes Batman! This recipe is killer! Love it. The perfect combination of cheesecake and banana. I tried to fit the ingrediants into a ready made graham crust but there was a lot left over. Better to make your own crust as outlined in the recipe. Well worth the time :) I used over-ripe bananas (black) rather than yellow bananas. Nice and moist.
