  • 1/4c. draines sun-dried tomatoes in oil,chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic,chopped
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 pkg(13.25 oz)whole-grain spaghetti
  • 1 can(28 oz)diced tomatoes in puree
  • 1lb. fresh or frozen(thawed) shelled and deveoned large raw shrimp
  • 11/2c. loosely packed fresh basil leaves,chopped

Directions
  1. Heat large saucepot of salted water to boiling on high Meanwhile,heat a 12" skillet on medium until hot. Add sun-dried tomatoes,garlic,a nd crushed red pepper and cook until garlic is fragrant,about 1 minute. Add the spaghetti to boiling water and cook as labe directs. Add tomatoes and their puree to skillet;heat to boiling on med-high and cook 5 mins to blend flavors,stirring and breaking up tomatoes with side of spoon. Stir in shrimp;cook 2 mins. or until they turn opaque throughout. Drain pasta and return to sauce-pot. Add shrimp mixture and basil to pasta in saucepot;toss to coat.
