Sage And Red Pepper Sausage Balls Recipe
This is good as main dish, snacks ,appetizers or whatever. It has a delicious flavor and it is another favorite of mine that came from Paula Deen.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 1 1/2 cups Asiago Cheese -- grated
  • 1 cup roasted red bell pepper -- minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried sage
  • 3 cups biscuit and baking mix

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment
  3. paper.
  4. In a large bowl, combine sausage, cheese, bell peppers, and sage.
  5. Stir in biscuit mix, mixing with hands until all ingredients are
  6. incorporated.
  7. Shape mixture into 11/2-inch balls; place on prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake 25 to 27 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  9. Serve immediately.
  10. Makes 3 1/2 dz.

YES!! this is awesome- will be making these very soon once my sage bush is big again, it's the only herb that has lasted (outside) all through this winter.
