How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • In a large bowl, put the flour and sugar; mix
  • To mixture, add: melted butter, yogurt, rosewater, baking powder and pineapple juice
  • batter should not be too thick
  • grease a pyrex pan
  • CARAMEL
  • mix together the sugar and water in small saucepan
  • let simmer on low until it starts to turn amber in color
  • add the lemon juice and stir until it becomes a medium dark amber
  • place the pineapple sliced pineapple on the bottom of the pyrex
  • add the caramel syrup on top
  • pour the cake batter on top of the pineapple and caramel
  • bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes

    I want to try it, but am not sure if you used baking 'soda' or 'powder. Could I use either?

    moist cake but directions don't give accurate ingredients. In one place it says baking soda in another it say baking powder.

    You're "5" fork recipe looks awesome! I like the fact that it doesn't have eggs in it and with all the other ingredients, I know it will be moist.
