Five Spice Meatballs

- 1 slightly beaten egg white shopping list
- 3/4 cup soft bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. five-spice powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 lb. ground beef or veggie crumbles shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups Flordia's Natural Premium Brand orange juice shopping list
- 3 tbsp. honey shopping list
- 4 tsp. cornstarch shopping list
- 4 tsp. soy sauce shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger shopping list
- 1 medium red and/or green sweet pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl, combine egg white, bread crumbs, five-spice powder, and salt. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 48 1-inch meatballs. Place in a 10x15x1 inch baking pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until no pink remans in the center of the meatballs. Drain.
- Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, stir together orange juice, honey, cornstarch, soy sauce, and ginger. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Cook and stir for two minutes more. Add sweet pepper and meatballs to saucepan; cook and stir until heated through. Serving in a chaffing dish with toothpicks.
