Ingredients
  • 8 oz shell pasta (medium)
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 square slices of Cheddar Cheese diced (see Note)
  • 8 oz fresh crab meat (I used back-fin, but special would be okay also)
  • ¼ cup sherry
  • 2 long slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 long slices Cheddar cheese (see Note)
  • ¼ cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • paprika
  • NOTE: I did not use sliced Cheddar. Instead I bought a block of New York Sharp Cheddar and just cut it up. I probably ended up using more than the recipe calls for, but it tasted good.

Directions
  1. Boil pasta until done.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. Cook next 7 ingredients until melted.
  4. Add crab and wine.
  5. Put in 2-quart baking dish.
  6. Spoon pasta over mix.
  7. Place slices of cheddar and Swiss over pasta.
  8. Spread with bread crumbs, dot with butter.
  9. Lightly sprinkle with paprika.
  10. Bake in 450 degree oven for 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
