How to make it

  • Mis flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. Gradually add beer, water and olive oil, then let batter rest one houir.
  • Beat egg whites stiffly and add to batter with corn and pepper. Drop by spoonfuls onto 1/2" hot oil in frying pan. Fry until golden on both sides. Drain on paper towels.

    love corn fritters, mom used to make them all of the time. never with beer though. sounds great.
