How to make it

  • cook wheat spaghetti noodles as directed on the box
  • drain and set aside
  • In medium sized sauce pan combine lean hamburger meat, turkey meat, onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms
  • cook on medium heat until meats are browned and cooked through
  • drain
  • return to stove top and add Prego sauce to ingredients
  • cook on medium to low heat (stirring occasionally) until sauce is hot and bubbly
  • turn off heat, and combine noodles and meat/sauce mixture

    The fact that you are trying to cut down on the cholesterol is a good thing Kudos to you for presenting a recipe that does just that.
    I use a soy substitute like Soy 7 for the meat and always make the sauce from scratch myself that is my personal preference, otherwise this is a great start thank you and keep them coming.

    All that is in the Prego sauce already......
    and you can add whatever you want, this is just the way that i like to eat it :)
