healthier spaghetti

- 1 box thin spaghetti wheat noodles shopping list
- 1 pound very lean ground hamburger meat shopping list
- 1 pound italian seasoned ground turkey meat shopping list
- 1 medium onion (diced) shopping list
- 1 green bell pepper (diced) shopping list
- 4 to 5 mushrooms (sliced) shopping list
- 1 big jar or two reg jars chunky veg. Prego shopping list
How to make it
- cook wheat spaghetti noodles as directed on the box
- drain and set aside
- In medium sized sauce pan combine lean hamburger meat, turkey meat, onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms
- cook on medium heat until meats are browned and cooked through
- drain
- return to stove top and add Prego sauce to ingredients
- cook on medium to low heat (stirring occasionally) until sauce is hot and bubbly
- turn off heat, and combine noodles and meat/sauce mixture
