Ingredients
  • Soft butter, for greasing the pan
  • Flour, for dusting the buttered pan
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 or 1/2 cup sugar, sifted
  • 1 cup brown sugar, sifted
  • 8 ounces melted butter
  • 11/3 cups cocoa, sifted
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup flour, sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup nuts-opitional

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Take an 8 inch square pan and butter and flour the pan; set aside
  3. Fitted with a wire attachment, crack and beat the eggs in a mixer until well fluffy and yellow
  4. Mix in both brown and white sugar
  5. Add all the remaining ingredients
  6. Mix to well combined nicely
  7. Pour the batter in the 8 inch baking pan and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Check with the toothpick method; if the toothpick comes out clean, your gooey brownie will be ready.

Frying at 350 will guarantee food will be greasy. 375 is better. And why not raw shrimp? These are delicate creatures and overcooking leaves them rubbery.
