My mom made this dish all time, it has become a family favorite. It is so simple and comforty, especially in the winter time.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbl. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbl. chili powder
  • 1 Tbl. paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 can tomato sauce (12 oz.)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 lb. box of macaroni

Directions
  1. In a large skillet, brown meat and drain. Add onions and celery, cook until tender.
  2. Add garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper, tomato sauce and soup.
  3. Simmer on medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
  4. Cook noodles in boiling water and drain. Add noodles to sauce and heat through on low.

This sounds like a recipe that my mom use to make and it was so delicious!Thanks for sharing it. My mom passed away in Oct. and I never had her recipe for some reason.


Hey, we used to call this American chop suey! I never thought of putting mushroom soup in it; will have to try that.
