Creole Mustard Vinaigrette Recipe
This is a fabulous salad dressing. So full of great flavor. Goes great on any kind of salad and especially good drizzed over fresh ripe tomatoes. I love it and make it often. Hope you love it too.

Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Creole mustard
  • 1 teaspoon onion minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry thyme leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry basil leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cane syrup
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions
  1. In a large bowl place all ingredients except salt and oil.
  2. Using an electric mixer with whip attachment blend on medium.
  3. Pour oil slowly in a steady stream until incorporated.

The cane syrup is an unusual addition. I think this is on my must make list soon. Thanks for the post.


Is there a way to skip the raw egg.. and add something else instead?
