Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cup shortning shopping list
- 1/3 cup light sour cream shopping list
- 1 cup corn syrup shopping list
- 3 cups flour shopping list
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ground clove1/4 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger shopping list
- additional sugar shopping list
How to make it
- In mixing bowl, cream sugar and lard until blended. Add sour cream and corn syrup; mix well. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt and spices; add o creamed mixture and mix well.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough. Sprinkle with additional sugar. Cut out with a round cookie cutter.
- Place on lightly greased baking sheets.
- Bake 350 degree for 7-10 minutes.
- Remove to wire racks.
