How to make it

  • Combine softened cream cheese with sour cream
  • Blend 2 cups swiss cheese, green and dried onions into mixture
  • Slowly stir beer into mixture, approximately 1 oz at a time. Watch that the dip does not become too sloppy
  • Add additional cheese to thicken dip if needed
  • Sprinkle remaining cheese on top
  • Refrigerate 30 minutes, covered
  • Serve with pretzels!

    I actually use fat free sour cream and cream cheese so as to cut the metaphorical calorie corner.
