Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb. dried lima beans
  • 1 lb. ground round or sirloin
  • Boiling, salted water
  • Sauce:
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thinly
  • 2 Tbl. sugar
  • 2 Tbl. worchestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. salt (kosher)
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 bottle chili sauce
  • 3/4 cup water

Directions
  1. Simmer beans in salted water for 2 hrs. Drain.
  2. Brown ground beef
  3. Cook sauce in a medium sauce pan until onions are tender
  4. Layer beans, ground beef and sauce in a casserole dish.
  5. Cook in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
