  • In a large bowl, combine dry gelatin and boiling water. Mix well to
  • dissolve gelatin. Add enough water to reserved pineapple juice to make 1 1/2 cups liquid. Add to gelatin mixture. Mix well to combine.
  • Stir in pineapple.
  • Refrigerate until partially set. Gently fold Cool Whip Free, cherries, and cottage cheese. Evenly pour into an 8-by-8-inch dish.
  • Refrigerate until firm, about 3 hours. Cut into 8 servings.
