Fresh Apple Nut Pound Cake

FRESH APPLE NUT POUND CAKE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Almond Estate in Grand Prairie Texas in 1992.
Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 2 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1-1/4 cups vegetable oil shopping list
- 3 cups fresh diced apples shopping list
- 1 cup pecan pieces shopping list
How to make it
- Sift flour, nutmeg, baking soda, cinnamon and salt together then set aside.
- Beat eggs, sugar, vanilla and oil together then gradually add flour mixture.
- Fold in apples and pecans then bake in tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350.
