Poverty Pudding

I found this recipe in a circa 1930's community cookbook that my Mom grew up with in Kansas...cover is long gone! I thought it was interesting. It was entered by Beatrice M Clark
Ingredients
- 1 Qt corn flakes shopping list
- 1 Qt milk shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- vanilla (no measurement) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 c molasses shopping list
- 1/4 c sugar shopping list
- 1.4 tsp ginger shopping list
How to make it
- Stir all together and place inpieces of butter on top in a buttered baking dish.
- Place dish in a pan of hot water and bake 3/4 to 1 hour in a moderate oven. 350 degrees
