Poverty Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

1 Qt corn Flakes

1 Qt milk

2 eggs

1/4 tsp cinnamon

vanilla (no measurement)

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 c molasses

1/4 c sugar

1.4 tsp ginger

Directions

Stir all together and place inpieces of butter on top in a buttered baking dish.

Place dish in a pan of hot water and bake 3/4 to 1 hour in a moderate oven. 350 degrees

It will be a lot like baked custard, you might like to add a water bath - check out your baked custard recipes - and you will see what I mean... I checked mine to make sure - it's done when a knife comes out clean, then carefully remove dish out of water bath to let cool on counter...
