How to make it

  • Mash garbonzo beans
  • add remaining ingredients
  • mix well
  • drop by tsp fulls into hot oil
  • fry til brown
  • drain on paper towels
  • For tahini sauce combine all ingrediens except parsley in blender.
  • Blend until very smooth
  • add parsley and blend until very small but not completely blended
  • For oil and vinegar dressing combine all ingredients and whisk together
  • Heat Pitas and split
  • Place three falafels in pocket
  • add remaining veggies and top with either the tahini sauce or the oil and vinegar. This is so good and is really wonderful on a hot summer day served with ice cold beer or lemonade.
