Lemon Glazed Carrots

- 1 lb baby carrots shopping list
- 3 tblsp butter or margarine shopping list
- 3 tblsp brown sugar shopping list
- 3 tblsp lemon juice shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- Grated lemon peel, optional shopping list
How to make it
- Place carrots in saucepan cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 10-12 minutes, or until crisp.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter. Add brown sugar, lemon juice and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Drain carrots add butter mixture and toss gently.
- Garnish with lemon peel if desired.
